HEADS UP

The *wired* connections in the lecture halls at University of Ottawa now have MAC filtering. In short, a wired connection won't work for you.

WiFi does not have this restriction.

If you have plans to plug into an ethernet jack in the lecture halls, you should make alternative plans.

NOTE: this does not affect the rooms in residence. But you should bring an ethernet cable. Or better still, a WAP if you want net access in residence.
